Scope of the position
Reporting to the VP R&D, the Team Leader will be responsible for all aspects of the Prague office Polarion Research&Development team.

• The person should have excellent communicative skills, be able to motivate team members, resolve possible conflicts, be able to take decision on personnel
• Should accept responsibility for given tasks, subordinated teams and processes
• Have good overview of modern technologies and possibility to define concepts for further development.
• Have good understanding and practical experience in modern development processes, like XP or Scrum (Scrum Master experience is a plus)
• Be good Java Developer with practical experience of Server-side application development (High-availability/scalability application development is plus)

• Set objectives and targets after consolidation with the VP R&D

Scope of the position

Reporting to Director of QA the Support Engineer will be responsible for providing daily support services to Polarion customers. These will include day-to-day communication with customers via email and/or phone to answer questions, collect information and resolve issues, reported by the customers.

Personal Responsibilities

• Continuous work with Polarion internal CRM system (today is SalesForce)
• Read and prioritize for answer customer requests
• Interpret technical aspects of customer requests
• Give answers to the questions, delegate sophisticated questions to dedicated developer, and communicate developer’s answers back to the customer.
• Monitor and review support processes, collect required data for escalation of issues and report timely bottlenecks in the support process to management.

Technical and administrative Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of practical experience in support, development or QA area. Have experience of direct communication with customers in the past.
• Have good understanding of Java reporting, error messaging, stack traces, etc.
• Experience of server administration is a plus
• Linux administration/advanced user experience is a plus

You help our customers to setup Subversion and Polarion solutions built atop Subversion in existing environments. Creation, adjustment and delivery of training programs for Subversionand Polarion.
