Project Manager / Leader

So until now, either you or Engineering people have been forced to use less-than-optimal tools for handling requirements. Polarions exclusive Live Documents technology eliminates this inherent conflict.
Polarion enables you to continue to work with accustomed office tools using special templates to create Polarion Live Documents. When checked in to Polarion's repository, Polarion will create Requirement type work items in the system with Task type work items for developers based on the contents of the requirements document. Polarion automatically keeps changes in the Live Document or the system objects versioned and synchronized.
If Requirements change (and they will!) Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders can be automatically notified. If Engineering changes a requirement in the production system, your document is automatically updated and you are notified.

QA Manager / Tester
Polarion delivers end-to-end traceability from requirements to source code (and vice versa). Now you can know (not guess) whether or not the implemented code fulfills the stated requirements. You can understand which tasks are/were related to any requirement and vice versa (which makes setting up test suites easier and more productive). Along the way, Polarion's fully integrated, built-in JUnit testing support helps you keep tabs on the progress and see at a glance which tests are passing and which are not.
Polarion's customizable workflow enables QA to quickly and easily sign off on implemented tasks. The sign-off is automatically rolled up into real-time status info and management reports, so there's no additional report writing or report generation to keep project managers informed.
System Administrator
Polarion solutions are easy to install and configure without expensive consultants or dedicated in-house specialists. Automated interactive installers are available for both Windows® and several popular Linux variants. Configuration and customization are straightforward through a combination of the graphical web interface, and well-commented XML configuration files that can be customized using a simple text editor.
